CNC Programmers- 2nd Shift

Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist 2nd Shift at our Jackson, MS facility! This is a 2nd shift opening, with hours between 3:30pm - 12am Monday - Friday.

The hourly rate for this position is $29.12 plus $1/hr shift differential per hour.

Rotate through each lean cell function and rotation through other lean cells.
Perform visual and physical inspection of parts using functional measuring equipment.
Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) know how to detect an out-of-control condition as well as other problem-solving methodologies to ensure quality of product.
Set up and operate distinct types of machines and finishing equipment (lathes, mills, drills; CNC & Manual, grinders, CNC grinders, laps, hones) without assistance and maintain proper tolerances.
Be responsible for returning all tools to their proper location at the end of the shift and cleaning work area.
Perform sub-assembly operations such as, installation of pins, plugs, inserts, bearings, miscellaneous components, etc.
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Machining certificate or Associate's degree in a technical field, OR a minimum of two (2) years of experience in machining.
CNC experience with lathes, mills, grinders, manual hone, or lap
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Jackson, MS (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
This position requires access to export-controlled information. S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.Prior work experience using hone, lap, and grind equipment
Ability to read precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, depth gauges and other applicable equipment

• Experience operating equipment such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, ID Grinders, and/or OD Grinders
• Knowledge of inspection procedures
