Provides specialized nursing care within inpatient interventional radiology and other radiology departments as needed. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures, recovery, and sedation management.
Administer procedural sedation and monitor patient recovery during radiology procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and adherence to safety protocols.
Document patient status, procedures, and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
Float to various radiology nursing areas based on operational needs.
Maintain current knowledge of radiology nursing practices, certifications, and safety standards.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience.
Be experienced with the EPIC EMR system.
Hold current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Gain diverse experience working across multiple radiology departments.
