Job Description

The Gardens at Aldersgate is seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher to join our Dietary Services team. This role is essential in supporting the daily nutritional needs of our residents by maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment and assisting with meal service. Key Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dish room, and dining areas according to sanitation and infection control standards

Assist dietary staff with meal preparation, tray setup, delivery, and pickup as needed

Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines at all times

Properly dispose of trash and recycling

Assist with stocking supplies and putting away deliveries

Support dietary staff to ensure residents receive meals timely and accurately

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or dishwashing is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Willingness to follow all safety and infection control policies
