Groundskeeper
Work Schedule: 12-month Salary Classification: Support Staff Salary Schedule - Group B $15.89
General Statement Of Responsibilities: To provide safe and aesthetically pleasing landscaping, playing fields, athletic fields, parking and walkway areas.
Essential Functions:

Installs and repairs irrigation systems
Mows and trims grass
Cares for all grass, trees, plants and flowers
Repairs and maintains grounds equipment
Conducts safety inspections of playground equipment, repairs as needed
Removes debris from drives, parking lots, sidewalks and other areas as required
Removes grounds trash and litter
Prepares athletic fields for events
Maintains swimming pool, including water chemistry
Performs minor maintenance duties as assigned
Performs other tasks as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Education, Training & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
One year of experience preferred
Ability to communicate and work well with staff
Possession of a valid Arizona driver's license
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 75 lbs without assistance

Supervision Received: Reports to the Director of Facilities
Supervisory Responsibility: None.
