Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate care plans.
Support individuals with mobility challenges using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.
Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations while documenting patient information.
Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques is essential for ensuring client safety.
Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued.
Certification in direct support or relevant social work experience is a plus.
