RN Registered Nurse (Weekend) - NIGHT SHIFT - Emergency Nursing Emergency Services

Registered Nurse (RN)
The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in a full-time, 12-hour night shift position. Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in our health center, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation of care plans
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage resident care
Supervise and direct nurse aides in providing direct care to residents, ensuring quality and consistency of care
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures
Monitor resident progress and adjust care plans as needed to promote optimal recovery and functional independence
Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation goals, care plans, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions as necessary
Participate in ongoing staff education and training
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure high standards of care and safety
Promote a positive team culture, fostering respect and open communication
In this full-time role, you'll follow a consistent two-week schedule, working 7 out of 14 days with a three-day weekend every other week. Shift:

~ Night shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Education Requirements:

Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
CPR certification
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
