Overall responsibility for accounting, financial control and compliance across North America
Ensure timely and accurate group reporting, management reporting, and external reporting
Lead financial planning processes including forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning
Act as finance business partner to the Managing Director – North America
Lead, develop and manage the North America finance team
Drive harmonization and standardization of financial processes aligned with Group standards
Main tasks

Lead financial planning processes including forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning
Act as finance business partner to the Managing Director – North America
Lead, develop and manage the North America finance team
Drive harmonization and standardization of financial processes aligned with Group standards
Secondary tasks
Support business development initiatives, including CAPEX projects and restructuring
Provide financial analysis for pricing, costing, and profitability improvement initiatives
Champion the use of BI tools (e.g. Targit) across the region
Support audit processes, tax compliance, and liaison with external advisors
Span of control
Management of North America finance team (approx. 4 employees across 2 sites)
Oversight of accounting, reporting, treasury, and credit control activities
Scope of responsibility
Full ownership of finance processes across North America
Responsibility for financial accuracy, compliance, and performance reporting
Contributor to global finance alignment and process excellence initiatives
Education & certifications
Qualified Accountant (or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree level (minimum)
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
Experience in finance business partnering
Experience in multinational and multi-site environments
Experience with group reporting and audit processes
Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment is an advantage
Skills
Strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Project management capabilities
Ability to manage and develop teams (direct and indirect)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Languages
