Benefits:Hourly rate of $22 - $24 per hour depending on experienceTip eligible!401k with company match (Full-time and part-time employees)Medical Benefits for full-time employees - 90% covered for full-time employees and 70% for dependentsVision & Dental benefits for full-time employees- 100% covered for full-time employeesPaid trainingFree Tea per shiftIn this Shift Lead role, you will:Daily Duties:Support baristas with hands-on drink preparation, especially during (but not limited to) peak hoursManage the POS with cash handling and credit card transactionsDemonstrate an excellent level of customer serviceHandle customer feedback with sincerity and professionalismLead by example by upholding company values and promoting a positive team cultureAssist managers in assigning barista staff tasks and delegation of duties per shift as neededAid with opening and/or closing store procedures and protocolsLeadership and Training:Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in ensuring the team is able to deliver high-quality and excellent customer serviceSupport store and assistant managers with coaching for skill with baristas by conducting On-Job-Training (OJT)Participate and complete company trainings when necessaryPractice a high standard for hospitality and our mission to "make friends through tea"Assist in addressing customer complaints and de-escalation solutionsWill not be responsible for creation of schedules but may need to aid with call-off coverage as neededStore Sales Performance:Have some awareness of sales performance and assist operations where neededAssist in marketing & promotion activitiesInventory Management:Ensure store inventory is arranged and managed properlyHelp to forecast inventory usage and deliverySupport management with ordering and receiving inventory as neededExperience and Skills You Will Need:Be a passionate tea loverBarista experience: 1+ years (preferred)Food Handling Certificate Needed (Company can assist)Have excellent verbal and written communications skillsFun personality that can add to the CHAGEE cultureBe a fast learner and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentWork well as part of a team with strong work ethicAbility to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidaysAbility to travel to other store locations or training facilities within a 20 mile radius on an as needed basisBe willing to learn other responsibilities and ad-hoc assignmentsAbility to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsEssential Physical Requirements:Position requires prolonged periods of standing and/or walkingMay involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stoopingFrequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, and POS equipmentFrequently lift/move up to 25lbsShifts and Availability:Morning/Day ShiftAfternoon ShiftNight/Evening ShiftWeekendsDon't miss out on this incredible opportunity to be at the forefront of CHAGEE's expansion into the US market.
