Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
Assume responsibility for unit-level care coordination and patient safety
Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe nursing care
Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care
Ensure competency of clinical staff under supervision
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
Familiarity with resource management in an acute care or labor and delivery setting
