Licensed Vocational Nurse | Hospice Care | Night Shift

We’re seeking caring and dependable Hospice LVNs to support patients and families during end‐of‐life care. In this role, you’ll work closely with RNs and the interdisciplinary hospice team to deliver comfort‐focused, patient‐centered care that honors individual needs and wishes.

Per Diem

Flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours

Day, evening, or night shifts based on assignment needs

Provide direct hospice nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

Administer medications and treatments per physician and RN orders

Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the RN and care team

Reinforce patient and family education related to care plans and symptom management

Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and interdisciplinary team members

Support care coordination across home hospice or inpatient hospice settings as assigned

Document care activities, observations, and patient responses accurately in the medical record

Active LVN license in the state of practice

Minimum of 1 year of recent hospice, palliative care, or acute care LVN experience required

Compassionate, patient‐advocate approach to care

Travel may be required for home hospice assignments

Inpatient hospice roles are facility‐based and do not require travel

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring comfort, dignity, and support for patients and families—while enjoying the flexibility of per diem scheduling with variable 4–12 hour shifts that fit your availability.
