CCRC is a 900+ person organization dedicated to child, family and community well‑being. The Recruiter will manage full‑cycle recruitment, ensuring positions are filled efficiently, comprehensively and in compliance with state, federal, and local employment laws.

Responsibilities and Duties
The Recruiter works under general supervision, performing the following tasks:

Develop and post job descriptions and advertisements; actively source candidates through job boards, employee referrals, on‑site recruiting, search firms and other methods.

Screen resumes and applications, contact candidates to gauge fit, and schedule interviews.

Maintain recruitment documentation; ensure compliance and confidentiality.

Support interview scheduling, interview coordination with hiring managers, and job‑fair or event participation.

Extend offers, negotiate compensation and facilitate onboarding of new hires.

Collaborate with divisional leadership to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.

Maintain system of confidentiality regarding data, records, and information.

Qualifications
Minimum Required

Education : BA/BS in HR, Business Administration, or related field from a four‑year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience : Minimum 3 years of high‑volume recruitment, outreach, engagement, or similar work centered on attracting and selecting participants.

Technical Requirements :

Advanced knowledge of general office procedures and excellent organizational and computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook e‑mail.

1‑year hands‑on experience with an electronic applicant tracking system.

Travel : 5 % travel required; may involve attending job fairs, recruiting events, meetings with community organizations, trainings, CCRC sponsored events, conferences. Staff may use a CCRC vehicle or personal vehicle, and must have current auto insurance, California driver’s license and required DMV clearance.

Work Schedule : Full time, typically Monday‑Friday; may require non‑traditional hours for job fairs and events.

Work Environment : Office setting, ambient temperature and indoor noise.

Background & Health Clearance Requirements :

Background check required based on program requirements, including criminal history, employment history, education and reference checks.

Additional clearances may be required: Live Scan clearance/DOJ fingerprinting, health clearance, MVR/DMV clearance, child development permit, CPR/Pediatric CPR certification, federal debarment checks, credit & bankruptcy check for fiscal responsibilities.
