UPMC Central Pennsylvania is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hepatologist to join our growing team of specialists dedicated to liver health. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice advanced hepatology in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment options.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care for patients with liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, and autoimmune liver conditions
Collaborate with gastroenterologists, transplant teams, and other specialists across the UPMC network
Participate in clinical research, education, and quality improvement initiatives
Engage in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to service line development
Optional academic appointment through UPMC's affiliated medical schools
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology with fellowship training in Hepatology preferred
Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
