Direct Support Professional - Paid Daily

Directly support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting, including helping with household chores, meal preparation, recreational and learning activities, and physical fitness. Represent the needs and interests of supported individuals, and provide input on program planning and implementation. Assist with transportation to community activities, using a company or personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement as applicable.

Pay and Hours
$18.00-$19.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Per diem available!

Qualifications

Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting is strongly preferred.

Basic computer skills; experience with TherapyApps is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping others.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid U.S. driver’s license and auto insurance with at least three years of driving experience; reliable transportation required, and some positions may need personal vehicle use.
