With a focus on exceptional service and immersive water-centric experiences, Tranquility Bay captures the laid-back elegance of island life.Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort is seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team.The Houseperson plays an important role in supporting daily housekeeping operations by maintaining clean and welcoming public areas, assisting Room Attendants with linens and supplies, removing trash and soiled linen, and helping with heavier cleaning and furniture-moving tasks.The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced resort setting.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain resort public areas including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, foyers, elevators, and other assigned spacesVacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish, and sanitize surfaces according to resort standardsEmpty trash receptacles and properly dispose of wasteClean mirrors, elevator doors, guest room door numbers, walls, doors, and other high-touch surfacesRemove spots and marks from corridor walls, doors, and other surfacesStraighten furniture and décor to maintain a clean and welcoming appearanceMonitor assigned areas throughout the shift and address cleanliness needs as they ariseRemove soiled linens and trash from Room Attendant carts and designated guest room areasDeliver clean linens, amenities, cleaning supplies, and other items to Room Attendants as neededRestock housekeeping supplies and assist in maintaining organized storage and linen areasAssist with turning mattresses and moving furniture as directedAssist with deep-cleaning projects and special housekeeping assignmentsSupport carpet and upholstery cleaning by moving and replacing furniture as neededAssist Room Attendants and other Housekeeping team members during high-volume periods to ensure efficient operationsGreet guests in a friendly and professional mannerRespond to guest questions and requests promptly and courteouslyProvide directions and general resort information when requestedCommunicate guest requests to the appropriate department when additional assistance is neededIdentify and report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, suspicious activity, or safety concerns promptlyFollow all resort safety, security, sanitation, and emergency proceduresUse cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment safely and according to established proceduresMaintain housekeeping equipment and work areas in a clean and organized conditionAttend required meetings and training sessionsPerform additional duties, special assignments, and projects as requested by managementQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferredPrevious housekeeping, cleaning, hotel, or hospitality experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to cleanliness and detailDependable and able to complete assigned tasks efficientlyFriendly and professional when interacting with guests and team membersFlexible availability including weekends and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasksAbility to move furniture, housekeeping carts, linens, and supplies as requiredAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditionsBenefits & PerksMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceAdditional voluntary benefitsPaid Time Off401(k) with employer matchDiscounts at EOS Hospitality sister propertiesEmployee recognition programsOpportunities for professional growth and advancementTranquility Bay Beachfront Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
