Evening Maintenance Person

Maintenance AssistantAs a Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our building and grounds in great shape. From fixing small repairs to helping with preventative maintenance, your work will directly contribute to the safety, comfort, and happiness of our residents.Maintenance Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with routine maintenance of the community, including resident apartments, common areas, and grounds.Complete work orders for repairs in a timely and professional manner.Support preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and systems.Help maintain cleanliness and safety standards in mechanical, storage, and utility areas.Assist with community projects, furniture moves, and event setups as needed.Follow safety procedures and promptly report any hazards.Interact with residents and staff in a friendly, respectful mannerMaintenance Assistant Qualifications and Skills:Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related field (senior living or healthcare setting a plus).Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.A positive attitude and respect for working in residents' homes.Willingness to be flexible with scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekendsMaintenance Assistant Benefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement planPaid time offEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
