A law firm seeks a versatile corporate lateral attorney in Reston with experience handling complex transactional work for clients of all sizes. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Virginia and possess 5-10 years of experience in corporate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate representation.
Duties
Handle complex transactional work independently.
Draft and negotiate corporate agreements.
Manage mergers and acquisitions processes.
Provide general corporate representation to clients.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in Virginia.
- 5-10 years of corporate transactional experience.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
- Some book of business required.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Virginia State Bar license.
Skills
Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
Ability to manage deals independently.
Tax experience is a plus.
