As an Paramedic with Ohio Ambulance Solutions, you will provide emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies. You will represent our organization with professionalism, compassion, and respect while delivering high-quality patient care.
Respond promptly and safely to emergency and non-emergency calls.
Assess, treat, and transport patients in accordance with established medical protocols and Ohio Ambulance Solutions policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, and treatment facilities.
Operate and maintain ambulances and medical equipment safely and in compliance with all standards.
Maintain readiness by restocking, cleaning, and inspecting vehicles and equipment.
Adhere to all safety policies, including infection control and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
Protect all patient information and report any privacy concerns immediately.
Participate in company privacy training and maintain professionalism in handling confidential information. Violation of privacy policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
EVOC/EVDT and Hazardous Materials Operations certifications preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 150 lbs with assistance.
Ability to function calmly and professionally under stress and in emergencies.
