Analyze manufacturing costs for materials, labor, inventory, and overhead; Lead review and validation of bills of materials (BOMs), routings, labor standards, and operational processes

Perform time studies and cost analyses to support accurate labor and overhead allocations

Evaluate cost impacts of product, material, equipment, or process changes

Partner with plant operations, engineering, and finance to improve cost accuracy and reporting; observe processes and gather cost data within manufacturing environments

Develop, document, and maintain standard costing methodologies and allocation methods

Support ERP system conversion, including data validation, testing, and reconciliation

Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous cost improvement initiatives

Perform additional accounting or analytical duties as assigned

5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in discrete or light assembly-based production

• Experience supporting ERP implementations, system conversions, or major process changes strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups; Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable)

Frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers for computer-based work

Generally not exposed to adverse environmental conditions

Occasionally exposed to a manufacturing environment, including proximity to machinery and production equipment

Regular use of computer systems and standard office equipment
