Nick & Mike Bar and Grill is hiring experienced Line Cooks to join our fast-paced, high-volume kitchen in Charlotte. Our kitchen is compact but produces a large volume of food, so we’re looking for cooks who are efficient, organized, and take pride in consistency and cleanliness .
What You’ll Do Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and ticket times
Work efficiently in a small kitchen with high output expectations
Maintain clean, organized workstations during and after service
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
Communicate clearly with teammates and management during busy shifts
Assist with prep, stocking, and cleaning as assigned
Handle food safely and properly at all times
What We’re Looking For Previous line cook experience preferred (high-volume experience a plus)
Ability to work quickly, cleanly, and under pressure
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic
Ability to follow direction and recipes exactly
Dependable and punctual
Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
Schedule & Availability Flexible scheduling
Nights, weekends, and holidays required
Full-time and part-time positions available
