Material Handler - Warehousing/Production

Stockroom And Warehouse Equipment SpecialistReceive, store, and issue equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, and tools. Compile stock records for stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.Ensures orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders, supply requests and material requests.Measures and cuts cable/wire to fill production ordersOperates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off vehicles for transport.Transport material or supplies to other departments.Deliver and pick-up material, as required.Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.Store articles in bins, on floor or shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.Maintain record of all materials issued.Cycle counts - WeeklyReview monthly report to maintain limited shelf-life material.Follow Safety Policies and Procedures. Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM, Suggestion box, etc.).Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.High school diploma or General Education Degree; or 1 to 5 years related experience and/or training; Valid driver's license and safe driving recordPrevious stock or inventory experience a plusPrevious experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plusValid Texas Driver's LicenseEmployee is frequently required to stand, stoop, sit, kneel, walk; Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability or protected veteran status.
