Weekend evening janitor

To maintain environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of The Crayola Experience. Employees will perform and oversee a variety of janitorial, custodial tasks to maintain a clean and safe building.

Cleans and services restrooms.

Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials.

Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

Dusts such items as furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items.

Maintains an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.

May perform snow removal and salting duties at entrance ways to The Crayola Experience.

Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

General decision regarding cleaning assignments will be made on a daily basis as needed according to the volume of people.

Responsibility for monitoring activity areas for cleanliness and determining how to adapt the facilitation of an area due to visitor volume or visitor needs.

Prior experience cleaning a family attraction, institutional or educational setting preferred.

Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Strong oral, interpersonal and customer service skills required.

Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification and be familiar with infectious materials clean-up and removal.
