System Engineer Position

We are seeking an entry-level System Engineer to provide systems engineering support across mission-critical government programs. The ideal candidate will assist with systems design, documentation, and integration activities while gaining exposure to large-scale enterprise and cloud-based architectures. You will work closely with senior engineers to contribute to technical documentation, requirement analysis, and system design development supporting complex, multi-domain mission environments.

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Substitution: Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Active Secret clearance (minimum) — TS/SCI strongly preferred. Citizens Only — No dual citizenship permitted.

Onsite in secure government facility (SCIF) — Maryland area. Start Date: Immediate upon clearance validation and customer approval.

Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirement Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.

Assist in developing and allocating system and functional requirements across hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.

Support system architecture and design documentation under senior engineering guidance.

Coordinate the resolution of Configuration Control Board (CCB) action items and design/test review issues requiring cross-discipline collaboration.

Assist in preparing or maintaining System Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs) and System Integration & Test Plans.

Participate in design reviews, program reviews, and test activities across integrated engineering teams.

Contribute to documentation and communication of engineering results to government customers and senior technical staff.
