Senior Tax Accountant (Public Accounting)
Broomall, PA (1x remote)
We're partnered with a small, independent Pennsylvania CPA firm providing tax, accounting, audit, and business advisory services to mid-market, family-owned businesses across Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks counties, and Philadelphia. The Tax Accountant prepares and reviews complex tax returns, advises clients directly on tax matters, and provides senior-level support to the firm's tax practice.
Prepare and review complex tax returns for a mix of business and individual clients
Research tax questions and advise clients directly on tax planning and compliance issues
Perform financial reviews and compilations under the supervision of a manager
Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and other special-purpose frameworks
Perform bookkeeping functions for clients, including monthly close
2+ years of public accounting experience in tax
Bachelor's degree in accounting and actively pursuing CPA license
Scope: The role spans tax, accounting, and advisory work rather than tax preparation alone, including reviews, compilations, and monthly close support
Medical, Dental, Vision - Starts Day 1 (Company pays 75% for independent)
