Catering Attendant (Nationals Park)Provides polished, attentive food and beverage service for premium catered events while ensuring exceptional presentation and seamless execution.MUST HAVE FINE DINING OR CATERING/BANQUET EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION!Qualifications:Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.Open availability, including holidays, evenings and weekendsMust have experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or high-end cateringStrong service instincts and elevated hospitality standardsCalm, confident leadership style in high-visibility environmentsProfessional presence and exceptional attention to detailAbility to lift and transport catering equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Delivers polished, attentive service for upscale catered events, premium hospitality functions, and fine dining experiencesExecutes food and beverage service according to established fine dining and high-end catering standardsProfessionally serves plated meals, passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet presentations, beverages, and other catered offeringsDemonstrates exceptional attention to detail in table settings, place settings, buffet displays, service stations, and overall event presentationSets and maintains elegant dining and event spaces, including tables, linens, décor, serviceware, glassware, and other presentation elementsMaintains strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparation methods, beverage offerings, and service standards to confidently assist guestsAnticipates guest needs and provides warm, discreet, and highly attentive service throughout the dining experienceMaintains professional composure, appearance, and service etiquette in fast-paced, high-profile hospitality environmentsCoordinates closely with culinary, catering, and event leadership to ensure seamless timing and execution of serviceMonitors and maintains proper food temperatures, presentation standards, and product quality throughout catered functionsMaintains buffet tables, service stations, and dining areas to ensure they remain clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually impeccableEfficiently clears, resets, and maintains tables while minimizing disruption to the guest experienceAssists with the careful handling, organization, and return of china, glassware, flatware, serving equipment, and catering suppliesCompletes event breakdown and restoration of service areas to established cleanliness and presentation standardsMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment while consistently following food safety, sanitation, and responsible service proceduresCreates a welcoming and memorable guest experience through genuine hospitality, professionalism, and personalized servicePerforms additional duties as assigned to support exceptional event execution and guest satisfactionLevy is a member of Compass Group USA.
