Starting at $24/hr + performance-based bonuses

Attend public and private sites, which may be indoors or outdoors, which are allocated in advance by NCE management to actively engage with members of the public
Consistently exceed the recruitment targets set by the Office Director, typically a minimum of 8 new committed donors per week
Provide your own means of reaching agreed meeting places and work sites on time and prepared to start work. You will be expected to be proactive in your journey planning.
Be willing and able to work weekends, some public holidays, and some evenings
As a Canvasser, your job is to get people’s attention, build rapport, and to tell stories with passion and emotion and drive people to give ongoing financial contributions. You’ll work with teammates in locations around the city and position yourself as a helpful and friendly member of the community.
That means previous fundraising or canvassing experience is NOT required !
We’re seeking individuals who are passionate about social and environmental justice and are eager to make a difference. We value demonstrated success in customer service , sales , retail , marketing , or any people-facing role. We also value experience in event planning , community organizing , and teamwork/leadership.
