Location: San Francisco (94101)
Type: Hybrid; In-office 3 days/week
Overview: An AM 100 firm with 1,000 Attorneys coast to coast is actively seeking an attorney to join their dynamic team in San Francisco and handle a broad range of corporate, commercial, and transactional matters. This attorney will work on business transactional matters, including outside general counsel matters for corporations and pass-through entities, commercial contracts, entity governance, ownership transition, entity formations and financings, and with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions transactions.
The ideal candidate will have at least four to six years of experience at a large law firm, practicing in a sophisticated legal environment, and will have an interest in supporting senior attorneys and a desire and aptitude to work closely with clients, while developing a practice.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a Juris Doctorate (JD) and will be licensed to practice law in the State of California and at least 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities law compliance, corporate formations.
Independently manages significant portions of transactions, including demonstrated ability to manage deal teams of other associates and subject matter experts.
