2nd Shift Welder- HOURLY

We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects.

P. is looking for a 2nd Shift Welder in our Fire Fabrication shop. In this position, you will be responsible for using a universal welder to make cuts and welds on steel pipe.

#Set up welding machine according to specifications

Weld components using semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Test all machine welds to ensure quality

Weld by hand any leaks found in quality penetration die test

4 plus years of welding experience

Pipe welding and welding certificates a plus

Must be able to work Saturday (will count against attendance record if missed).

Must be 18 years or older

Ability to stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8-12 hour shifts

Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
