Head of Engineering and Project Management

Independently plan, design, and direct geotechnical engineering projects, tracking scope, schedule, and budget.

• Calculate cost estimates and determine the feasibility of projects or foundation systems based on subsurface conditions including dewatering, excavation of weak soils, rock excavation, and settlement risk.
• Provide oversight of the construction materials laboratory quality management system.
• Coordinate laboratory services and field exploration program.
• Develop a highly efficient project team.
• Participate in business development, building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with clients and potential clients.
• Support the NTS safety program through safe work practices, policy adherence, hazard reporting, and commitment to safe project execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on geotechnical engineering or a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering.

• Strong understanding of construction materials testing and the construction industry, in general.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive, high-quality technical reports.
• Professional certifications such as PE licensure or PMP certification preferred.
