Responsibilities

Surgical Focus: Orthopedics and joints

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in M/S Ortho

Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted

Work Setting Skills: MS/Tele

Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team use

IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral line care/management

Respiratory Skills: Nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management

Professional Topics: Isolation precautions/PPE

Certifications: BLS required

Preferred Skills

Orthopedics: Total joint replacement and spinal surgery

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in M/S Orthopedics (required)

BLS certification required

Job Details

Average Daily Census: 34

Rooms/Beds: 48

Shift: 36 hours/week, 3 x 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15)

Duration: 13 weeks

Call Requirement: None

Float Requirement: Yes, first to float if census drops

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
