Job Description Engineer - Quality Q

A Quality Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples.

Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.

Assist Quality Manager & Supervisor in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.

Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products is in accordance with approved data.

Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.

Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to internal/external customer complaints.

Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.

Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.

Develop training to build quality awareness.

Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.

Manage suppliers performance and conduct audits.

Mid-Level Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Computer knowledge, functionality, technical interaction of sub-assemblies.

English as either primary or secondary language.

Bachelors Degree preferred. Other Personal Skills Required

Critical analysis and complex problem solving -

Manual Dexterity - This job requires repeated and coordinated use of your hands, wrists, and fingers to use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools.

Office and outside environmental conditions are found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period while working and walking the facilities;
