As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Awareness Patrol in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
