Dishwasher/Steward -part time & full time, immediate start

Job Overview: As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper you’ll be responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry. Operate industrial dishwasher.

Follow sanitation policies at all times.

Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times

Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.

Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.

Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.

Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.

Possess strong interpersonal skills and is able to interact and communicate successfully to the residents and team.​

Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function

Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment;
