Warehouse Associate

The role of the warehouse associate encompasses the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, both outgoing and incoming. Responsibilities include selecting products from the warehouse, loading and securing goods onto pallets, transporting inventory to the delivery area, and loading merchandise for shipment. Additionally, the associate will unload stock from delivery vehicles, transfer it to designated positions within the warehouse, and ensure proper storage. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all relevant safety regulations, policies, and procedures is essential. The position entails various general warehouse duties with a primary focus on receiving. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

Accepting delivery of inventory.

Counting and confirming inventory.

Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.

Marking and labeling stock.

Storing inventory in an accessible manner.

Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.

Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Work experience as a general laborer, preferably in a refrigerated warehouse.

Ability to operate a forklift proficiently.

Environmental - Willingness to work in a cold climate of 35º.

Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.

Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus.

Ability to operate a forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack safely as required.

Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and open to working weekends.
