Schedule
NIGHTS (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with alternating weekends.
Job Description
The Travel Med Surg RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical surgical unit. The focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing necessary interventions.
Communicate with families regarding health updates and care plans.
Document all care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN license in good standing.
BLS certification required.
Experience with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
