• The Iron Worker provides support for new and existing work within The Shaw Groups fabrication operations. This role is responsible for bolt-up assembly and installation of structural steel components in a fabrication facility environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading drawings, fitting structural components, and safely working in both indoor and outdoor conditions while supporting high-quality fabrication activities.

Perform bolt-up assembly and structural steel installation
Inspect and receive materials
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
Ability to safely operate tools and equipment associated with structural assembly work
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Work is performed primarily in a fabrication facility environment
Position may require working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and active construction or fabrication areas is expected
