As a Radiation Therapist Technician, you will provide prescribed radiation therapy to patients of all age groups. You will deliver the doses of radiation therapy, position patients, explain the procedure, and answer any questions. You will work with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff and physicians during treatment to ensure the best patient care. Age-Appropriate Care: Applies the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care to patients across all age groups (infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric).

Radiation Therapy Administration: Delivers prescribed doses of radiation therapy, positions patients, answers questions, and explains procedures as needed.

Works with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff, and physicians during treatment, coordinating support services like social work and dietary.

Safety and Quality Assurance: Maintains department policies, quality assurance programs, and safety standards, and participates in process improvement efforts.

Associate degree in Radiation Therapy

Bachelors of Radiation Therapy

Knowledge of Varian equipment/software, EPIC
