Cath Lab RN – 13-week travel assignment in Port Saint Lucie, FL (34987). Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) with ACLS/BLS and STEMI/interventional cardiology skills for a travel nursing opportunity in Florida.

Assignment Type: Travel Nursing (Cath Lab RN)
Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL 34987 (Treasure Coast, Florida travel nursing job)
Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
On Call: Evenings & weekends required (participate in on-call rotation)

Required Qualifications – Cath Lab Nurse / Cardiac RN

• Minimum 18 months RN experience in a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting (2 years preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Experience managing cardiac medication drips, emergency medications, and dysrhythmia management
• ability to respond quickly to cardiac emergencies
• Experience with angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper/lower extremity angiography, and interventional radiology preferred
• Knowledge of radiation/laser safety and sheath removal/monitoring
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Responsibilities – Cath Lab RN / Interventional Cardiology Nurse

Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care in the Cath Lab for interventional cardiac procedures
monitor patient response and emergency medications
Respond to STEMI activations and cardiac emergencies as a core member of the interventional response team
Perform sheath removal/monitoring and apply vascular closure devices according to facility protocols
Document patient care, procedural details, and charting accurately in the facility’s electronic health record
Float within scope to meet facility needs and participate in required on-call coverage (evenings/weekends)
Complete required onboarding modules and maintain annual competencies for cardiac cath lab nursing
