Senior HR Generalist, Employee Relations and Recruitment

Overview The French American Chamber of Commerce is recruiting a Senior HR Generalist for one of its members. The company is in the medical industry.

The Senior HR Generalist has a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. This position requires a meticulous detail-oriented, analytical, and strategically minded professional who has the innate ability to anticipate needs, multi-task, and bring projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities Develop, implement, communicate, monitor, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and technologies, aligning with UMNA’s goals and objectives.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and required reporting.

Oversee all tasks related to the recruiting and hiring process, including maintenance of the ATS platform and creation of offer letters.

Lead and support HR projects and initiatives as assigned driving process improvements and operational efficiency.

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.

Manage OSHA compliance and workers’ compensation claims and reporting.

Extensive knowledge of HR functional areas, processes, best practices, and employment laws and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations.

Strategic mindset with the ability to identify, recommend, and implement improvements to HR processes, policies, and procedures.

Demonstrated ability in employee and labor relations.

Results-driven project management capabilities with a track record of successfully leading and completing initiatives.

Requirements 3-5 years of experience supporting a manufacturing workforce (salaried and hourly).

5 years of experience in an HR operational role required.

Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and technologies.

Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work environment Indoors, in an office environment, with temperature control.

No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Travel up to 10% of the time, with the potential for international travel.

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
