HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Largo, Maryland.

Registered Nurse – CVICU
Facility: University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:30 – 20:00)
Every Other Weekend
Charting System: Epic (Preferred)
Float Required: Yes – PRN to IMC (1:3 ratio)
Provide specialized cardiovascular intensive care to critically ill adult patients recovering from cardiac surgery and advanced cardiac interventions while managing complex hemodynamic monitoring and life-support therapies.
Provide comprehensive care for post-operative CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, and other cardiovascular surgery patients.
Monitor and manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, FloTrac, IABP, Impella, and CRRT therapies.
Titrate cardiac, vasoactive, sedation, and emergency medications based on hemodynamic status.
Perform central line care, blood product administration, chest tube management, and maintain accurate patient documentation.
Active Maryland RN License or Compact RN License
Comfortable floating within specialty, sister units, and lower acuity units as needed

Unit: CCRU (CVICU) – 3610-10172
Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
Cardiac surgery (CABG, valve repair/replacement), CAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, AFib with RVR, cardiogenic shock, vascular bypasses, EVAR, and thoracic surgery (VATS).
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Registered Nurse/CVICU
