Senior Credit Underwriter
We are seeking a Senior Credit Underwriter for the Consumer Lending Department. The Senior Credit Underwriter analyzes consumer loan applications and makes sound, timely credit decisions within established lending policies and authority. This role supports the Portfolio Manager in overseeing daily underwriting operations, monitoring workflow, and helping achieve credit quality, portfolio performance, and profitability goals. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Credit Underwriter provides guidance and training to underwriting staff, partners closely with internal business channels, and ensures lending decisions are communicated clearly and effectively while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.

Serve as a trusted underwriting expert, guiding credit decisions and exception management.
Coach and develop underwriters through training, onboarding, and ongoing mentorship.
Help shape underwriting operations, workflow efficiency, and future product initiatives.
Work closely with leadership to support departmental performance, planning, and continuous improvement.
Required: High School diploma or equivalent experience
Credit Counseling
Extensive knowledge of credit and collateral underwriting standards
Ability to communicate credit decisions effectively to clients and internal stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
