ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide ongoing coverage beginning as soon as possible. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding responsibilities, serving primarily oncology patients with some hematology cases. The provider will join a practice currently staffed by one physician and will care for adult and geriatric patients in a collaborative cancer care environment. Dates / Schedule Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: OngoingSchedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMCall: NoneWeekends: NoneCredentialing Timeline:Temporary privileges: 3 14 days after completed application submissionPermanent privileges: 2 3 months Job Details / Responsibilities Provide both inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology services.Manage a patient population consisting of:70% Oncology30% HematologyNo Internal Medicine responsibilities.Treat adult and geriatric patients.Conduct outpatient clinic visits, evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.Perform inpatient rounding and management of hospitalized oncology/hematology patients.Collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer care teams.Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
