Commercial Loan Officer, Provo, UTClient is seeking a motivated, experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join our growing company. In this position, you will evaluate and approve or deny loan applications. You will act as a liaison between financial institutions, individuals, and businesses applying for loans as well as process loan applications, solicit loans, and act as intermediary for creditors and borrowers.As a community-focused financial institution, client reflects the positive nature of its native Utah. Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate credit and financial histories.Engage with customers and clients to determine loan needs.Process loan applications and documentationAdvise clients on loan policies and restrictions.Maintain and update client account records.Submit loan applications and documentations.Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws.Interview loan applicantsAdvise borrowers on financial status and payment methods.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field preferredMortgage loan officers must be licensed as mortgage loan originators (MLO)State loan officer license from the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of local, state, and federal loan regulationsStrict adherence to company financial policies and processesExperienced at compiling and following policies and processesAble to analyze financial records and transfer data
