Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services in an adult outpatient setting
Deliver specialized hand and upper extremity therapy as indicated by patient needs
Document patient progress and treatment plans using electronic health record systems
Float to alternate facilities as needed when assignment and qualifications align
Participate in required orientation modules and annual compliance training prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) License — must be in hand at time of submittal
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Teaching hospital experience required
Two professional references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
Complete and accurate employment history, including all prior experience at any University of California medical facilities or affiliated facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or AOTA Hand/Upper Extremity certification
Master's degree (MS or MA) in Occupational Therapy or related field
Minimum 3 years of occupational therapy experience, with hand clinic and adult outpatient experience preferred
