Teacher for Visually Impaired - Special Education

Job Description We are looking for a talented Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the school year.
Hourly Rate Range : $35.00-$55.00 per hour
Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
Adapt instructional materials to accessible formats (Braille, large print, audio).
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student success.
Support use of assistive technology and visual aids.
Maintain documentation in compliance with South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) and IDEA regulations.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Visual Impairments, Special Education, or related field.
South Carolina Teaching License with Visual Impairment certification (issued by SCDE).
Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
Flexibility Post-Contract: Options to extend your contract, convert to a permanent position, or explore new opportunities.
