Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (either 06:45 - 19:15 or 09:00 - 21:30).
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a current AK RN license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies as necessary.
Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation and communication.
Participate in patient education and support throughout the surgical process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room environment.
BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
Current AK RN license (in hand for auto offer).
