Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care ICU

Registered Nurse - CVOR travel assignment in Utica, New York. Weekly pay: $1,378 to $1,471 per week. Shift: Two 10-hour day shifts per week. Setting: hospital operating room environment focusing on cardiovascular surgical cases. This travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- CVOR in a hospital operating room; adult patient population

Deliver perioperative nursing care in the CVOR for adult cardiac cases, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases

• Assist with case preparation, instrument handling, and maintaining a sterile, safe surgical field; support the surgical team and anesthesia as needed
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events in the electronic health record (EPIC), and communicate any changes to the team
• Manage equipment and supplies, including use of Omnicell for inventory management and instrument turnover
• Uphold patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; Participate in on-call coverage as required (up to 7 days per four-week schedule, inclusive of one full weekend); Current New York State Registered Nurse license
• 1+ year of CVOR or cardiovascular operating room nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate degree
• Ability to work in a CVOR perioperative setting with adult patients; Shift availability aligns with two 10-hour days per week; Competitive weekly pay
