Architects, designers, contractors and homeowners rely on us for Southern California's largest selection of boulders, crushed stone, decomposed granite, flagstone, natural thin veneer, cobble, pebbles, outdoor stone fountains and custom fabrication.We are looking for energetic, customer focused individuals to join our Palm Springs location.Essential Job Functions:Meet & greet customersAssist customers with product selection and salesLoad customer vehicles, checking for accuracyWeigh trucks when neededCoordinate yard upkeep with yard foremanEnsure proper tagging, weighing, and storage of productsEnsure scales and yard areas are clean of debrisMaintain tool cleanliness and product organization/visibility in yardOperate equipment as needed using checklist and safety measuresAssist Drivers when neededEstablish sales leads from customersParticipate in progressive training on current and new product linesComplete product knowledge testingJob Requirements:Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 poundsPrior forklift experience/certification a plusAbility to work rotational weekendsOperate forkliftsLearn material within a successful timelineRotational weekends requiredBenefits:Employees receive health benefits such as vacation accrual and sick pay, paid holidays and the opportunity to participate in a generous 401(k) program.Health Benefits include Medical, Dental and Vision plans as well as life insurance and accident plans.Employer covers 85% of EMPLOYEE ONLY medical coverageAfter 1 year of employment, employer provides up to 5% 401k matchFull-time Benefit eligible position
