• 44-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in neuro and trauma care
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 at standard grid, 5:1 when stretched
• State-of-the-art equipment including IV pumps, PCAs, chest tubes, and patient lifts
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated CNCs, CNAs, and unit coordinators per shift
• Cerner EMR system
• Floating to stepdown and medical-surgical units as needed

Requirements:

Current North Carolina RN license or compact state license

ACLS

and BLS certification (required)
NIHSS certification (required)
Neuro and trauma care experience (required)
Proficiency in procedures including neuro/spinal assessments, c-collar placement, TLSO braces, chest tube management, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumber drains, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions
