As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages while maintaining patient safety. You will be joining a close-knit, hardworking, and supportive team of caregivers that prioritizes quality patient care. You will also have access to the latest and greatest imaging technology and the best equipment in the area. Tech will follow mobile MRI machine between Twinsburg and Sports Health.
Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination.
Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.Or must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.N) (ARRT) in good standing or be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways)
One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities
Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
~ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
