LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist-Hospitals to join our team in Rome NY.
Work Schedule Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
alternating Weekends
Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years’ experience as an in-patient phlebotomist
Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Hospital/In-patient setting.
In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.
Pay Range Pay Range : $17.75 - $23.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
